1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the GluEase mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are between you and GRAVLOOM – FZCO. The App is licensed, not sold, to you.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, and the age of majority required to enter a binding contract) to use the App. The App is intended for adults managing their own health and is not directed to children.
3. Apple Standard EULA
The App is distributed via the Apple App Store. Unless we provide a custom end-user license agreement, your license is also governed by Apple’s **Licensed Application End User License Agreement** (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). Where these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA governs to the extent of the conflict for the App obtained through the App Store.
4. User Accounts
The App does **not** require or provide a user account, login, or registration. Your data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
5. Subscriptions
The App offers an paid subscription (“GluEase Pro” / Premium) that unlocks premium features. Subscriptions are sold as **auto-renewable subscriptions** and are processed by Apple through in-app purchase and managed via our provider RevenueCat.
5.1 Auto-Renewing Subscriptions
– Subscription ( weekly and yearly plans) and their prices are shown in the App before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID: account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription automatically renews: at the then-current price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
**3 free trial** is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
5.2 Billing & Managing Your Subscription
You can manage or cancel your subscription in **iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions** (or App Store → Account → Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. You can restore an active subscription using “Restore” on the App’s paywall.
5.3 Refund Policy
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies; please submit requests through https://reportaproblem.apple.com. GRAVLOOM cannot directly issue refunds for App Store purchases. To the extent permitted by applicable law, fees are otherwise non-refundable.
6. Medical Disclaimer — No Medical Advice
GluEase is a self-tracking and informational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The App helps you record and review your own blood sugar, blood pressure, and sleep information. Any figures, ranges, trends, or insights shown are for general informational purposes only and must not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical judgment.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any decision about your health, medication, diet, or treatment. Never disregard or delay seeking medical advice because of information in the App. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately. GRAVLOOM does not verify the accuracy of the data you enter and is not responsible for health decisions you make using the App.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to: provide accurate information when using the App; use the App only for your personal, non-commercial health tracking; keep your own backups of important data (the App stores data on your device and we cannot recover it); and comply with all applicable laws.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law; interfere with or disrupt the App; use the App to violate any law or third-party right; or circumvent the App’s subscription or in-app purchase mechanisms.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, and trademarks (including “GluEase”), is owned by GRAVLOOM – FZCO or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted.
10. User Content
The health data and notes you enter (“User Content”) remain yours and are stored on your device. We do not access, host, or claim ownership of your User Content. You are solely responsible for your User Content and for keeping backups.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRAVLOOM – FZCO AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR HEALTH OUTCOMES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE APP. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD 50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GRAVLOOM – FZCO and its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the App or your violation of these Terms or any law.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms or as required by law. You may stop using the App at any time and delete it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. Failing resolution, the dispute shall be subject to the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, except where applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts. This clause does not affect statutory consumer rights or Apple’s role in App Store transactions.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
